Chipton-Ross is seeking a Network Communications 3 for a contract opportunity in Pascagoula, MS.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
  • 5 Years with Bachelor's Degree in related field; 3 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree.
  • Must have experience with circuits, firewalls, loadbalancers, telephone, routers and vendor management including, but not limited too, SLAs and KPIs.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position will report to the Infrastructure Manager and will be responsible for network administration.
  • This role will be responsible overseeing the day-to day management and governance of the 3rd party infrastructure providers, ensuring performance across the networking tower.
  • The networking tower includes oversight of the hardware and software for: routers, switches, firewalls, circuits, load balancer, telephoney, etc.
  • This role will serve as the operational interface between the internal stakeholders and external vendors, while driving service excellence, compliance, and strategic alignment to business goals.

Additional responsibilities:
  • Support managing contractual relationships, including SLA compliance, escalation protocols, and performance reviews.
  • Support alignment with strategic roadmaps.
  • Monitor and report on service uptime, incident response, and remediation processes.
  • Ensure infrastructure support aligns with enterprise needs in availability, scalability, and resilience.
  • Drive risk mitigation initiatives and support disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Position requires traveling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detailed documentation.
  • Adherence to timelines is a must.
  • Experience with stakeholder (internal and external) communication
  • Proven experience in IT operations, vendor management, or infrastructure governance.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills across technical and executive audiences.

REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
WORK HOURS
Full-Time 5/40, workweek.
