Job description

Working from our Philadelphia based headquarters, this individual supports, monitors, tests and troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to the multi-site enterprise WAN and LAN infrastructure. Responsible for network design and implementation, network monitoring, end-user support and direct interface with telecommunications vendors. This individual must possess the skill set to implement complex projects that would includeย  Cisco L3 switching implementations, security implementation (Cisco NG, ISE, and Prime ),ย  and configuringย  LAN/ Private and Publicย  WANย  networks with Cisco routers within an MPLS network ) This position also requires a thorough understanding of dynamic routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, and TCPIP addressing and design.

Summary of experience required:
6+ years of Network Support experience with an understanding of enterprise networking TCP/IP, network operating systems, and network software applications including Microsoft applications including AD, Win10, MS Exchange, remote access tools, software distribution, network mapping.ย  This individual must have the ability to provide advanced problem resolution via the efficient utilization of technology and manpower resources. Must possess excellent communicative and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Technical Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

Required:
  • Expert knowledge of Cisco IOS configuration commands and implementation.
  • Advanced configuration understanding of Cisco ASA and Cisco FPR firewalls.
  • Advanced hardware troubleshooting and support.
  • Experience in the use of advanced networking tools and utilities.
  • Understanding of networking and Internet technologies, including MPLS and dynamic routing protocols.
  • Experience in the deployment of Cisco hardware including Cisco Catalyst switches, Routers, and Firewalls.
  • Wi-Fi โ€“ Cisco controller-based โ€“ Cisco Apโ€™s.

Desired but not required:
  • Zscaler.
  • SD-WAN.
  • Fatpipe.
  • Meraki.
  • Riverbed.

Related Training and Education Required: Bachelorโ€™s Degree or equivalent experience & CCNA / CCNP.
