Job Summary:

The Senior Network Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing and engineering cloud-first network solutions, driving automation across the network platform, and ensuring the stability and security of the firm’s technology infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Designing, implementing, and supporting cloud network architectures across AWS, Azure, or other public cloud platforms
• Engineering hybrid connectivity solutions including VPN, Direct Connect / ExpressRoute, and cloud-native routing
• Developing and maintaining network automation using Infrastructure as Code and scripting frameworks
• Standardizing network services, templates, and patterns to improve consistency and repeatability
• Troubleshooting complex network issues across cloud and on‑prem environments and performing root cause analysis
• Partnering with Security teams to ensure network designs meet security and compliance requirements
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
• Evaluating new cloud networking technologies and making recommendations to improve the platform
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in network engineering with strong exposure to cloud and hybrid environments
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking services (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure VNet, routing, security groups, NACLs)
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, BGP, routing, and firewalling
• Experience with network automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python)
• Experience collaborating with application, cloud, and security teams on shared initiatives
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on moderately complex assignments
