Job Title: Digital Forensic Examiner Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a cleared Digital Forensic Examiner. Responsibilities: * Conduct forensic examinations involving the collection, processing, analysis, interpretation, and preservation of digital evidence.
* Examine digital devices and media in support of network vulnerability mitigation, intelligence operations, and investigative requirements.
* Utilize forensic tools such as Cellebrite, EnCase, Axiom, XRY, FTK, and X-Ways to perform examinations and extract relevant evidence.
* Analyze complex and large data sets to identify relevant findings, artifacts, and investigative leads.
* Identify and assess steganography and encryption techniques, including detection and analysis methods.
* Document forensic processes, findings, and conclusions in technical reports and case documentation.
* Support technical discussions and provide input on forensic findings, methodologies, and recommendations.
* Use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook to prepare products, communicate findings, and support mission execution.
* • Support the management and leadership of DNA lab personnel and procedures, as required. Qualifications: * Active TS/SCI. * 8 years of experience in Digital Forensics and/or Electronic Engineering.
* Physical ability and commitment to global deployment for 6-month rotations.
* Expertise in electronic schematic design and interpretation.
* Proficiency in identifying electronic components and characterizing circuits.
* Mastery of laboratory benchtop equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc.).
* Solid understanding of RF communications and standard RF measurements. Desired: * BSE in Electrical Engineering
* Familiarity with IED and/or UXS techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTP)
* Experience collaborating with military organizations, such as EOD units
* Background in CELLEX, DOMEX, and MEDEX forensics Hands-on experience with IED/UAS electronics
