Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer II with 10+ years of overall IT Infrastructure and Network Engineering experience to design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and highly available hybrid cloud network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in enterprise networking across on-premises and cloud environments, with strong hands-on experience in Cisco, Meraki, AWS, Azure, and OCI.

This is a business-facing role, requiring excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will serve as a technical leader for network engineering initiatives while collaborating with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support secure hybrid cloud networking across AWS, Azure, OCI, and on-premises environments.

  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network availability.
  • Manage DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) services.
  • Implement network security best practices, including firewall policies, segmentation, encryption, and PKI.
  • Support cloud migration initiatives and infrastructure modernization projects.
  • Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Work with telecom providers to manage DIA, broadband, and redundant connectivity.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resilience initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of overall IT Infrastructure / Network Engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with AWS, Azure, and OCI.
  • Strong expertise in Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, IOS/XE, and Meraki networking technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with routing, switching, VPN, SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.
  • Experience implementing multi-cloud connectivity using AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, OCI FastConnect, and Megaport.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Experience administering Windows and Linux environments.
  • Proficiency with Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Git, Datadog, and PagerDuty is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, PKI, network monitoring, and observability.
  • Familiarity with DR/BC planning, CMDB, and security standards including SOC2, ISO 27001, and NIST.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
