Headquartered in McLean, VA, By Light supports defense, civilian, and commercial IT customers worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise computer networks and infrastructure.
  • Support routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and VLANs.
  • Support both bare metal and virtualized network environments.
  • Provide enterprise network engineering and technical support for campus area network environments.
  • Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining network policies and procedures.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and support operational readiness.
  • Support infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and configuration activities.
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and support records.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders as required.
Required Experience/Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT II requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years of networking experience.
  • Expert knowledge of enterprise network design and configuration.
  • Experience supporting routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and VLANs.
  • Experience supporting enterprise campus network environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Special Requirements/Security Clearance
  • Active Secret Clearance required.
