Job description

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.  

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a network systems integration engineer within the NC3 engineering group, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for integrating state of the art network and security devices into critical mission systems in support of our nation's strategic deterrence mission.

  • Perform lab-based configuration of network equipment to support larger mission system integration.
  • Design, develop, and implement complex systems with a focus on networking and MBSE tools.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses, particularly in networked environments.
  • Develop system security documentation and provide system accreditation/certification evaluation and test support.
  • Utilize MBSE tools to model, simulate, and analyze system designs, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure architectures.
  • Research and analyze data, such as vendor products, COTS components, and specifications, to determine feasibility of design or application.
  • Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
