About The Role
We are seeking a Network Engineer to help lead network projects at the firm. Reporting into the Systems Infrastructure Team, this individual will serve as a primary driver of network engineering initiatives including counterparty integrations, new office buildouts, and ongoing network projects.
This role is designed for an experienced, collaborative professional looking for a growth opportunity. While network engineering will be the initial focus, the breadth of responsibilities is expected to expand over time.
This is an on-site role based out of our New York City office, five days a week.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead network projects at the firm, including counterparty integrations, new office buildouts, and ongoing network initiatives
  • Design, implement, operate, and support network infrastructure across all layers of the environment
  • Manage routing, switching, and firewall systems
  • Support and expand cloud networking capabilities, particularly within AWS
  • Develop and maintain scripting and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
  • Enforce and evolve network security best practices and controls
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other infrastructure team members on shared projects and priorities

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in a network and/or network security role
  • Strong expertise in traditional networking - routing, switching, and firewall systems
  • Proficiency in scripting and/or programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of security best practices and controls
  • Superb communication and strong project management skills
  • Ability to learn new platforms and technologies quickly
  • Familiarity with public cloud environments, particularly AWS
  • Financial industry experience helpful, but not required

The base salary for this role is anticipated to be $200,000-$250,000, excluding potential bonuses, additional compensation, and benefits. Actual compensation will depend on various factors including skills, experience, and qualifications.
