Job Summary:
VAST Data is a rapidly growing infrastructure company at the forefront of the artificial intelligence revolution. They are seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to develop business across enterprise-level customers and manage customer relationships to drive revenue and expand the VAST Data footprint.
Responsibilities:
• Develop business across a mix of enterprise level customers across the spectrum
• Generate revenue and work closely with a network of Channel Partners to successfully sell the VAST Data offering
• Manage the sales process to align with customer buying cycles
• Manage customer relationships from first meeting through (optional) proof of concept as well as after the sale to enable opportunities to expand the VAST Data footprint.
• Develop and present proposals to customers with information that demonstrates the ability of the VAST solution to meet customers’ business objectives and justify the sale.
• Prospect, penetrate large accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing business.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage to large IT organizations
• Positive energy, optimism and vision.
• Ability to perform in an unstructured environment.
• Understanding of classic unstructured data applications and next-generation analytics and web frameworks.
• Preparation and/or delivery of technical product and architecture presentations to customers and trainees.
• Knowledge of virtualization, high-performance networking and enterprise security.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
