Position Overview

DSN is seeking a Telecom Systems Integration Engineer to join our client's Connectivity organization, an onsite role based in Mossville, IL. This team builds innovative, scalable connectivity solutions that enable seamless data flow between onboard and offboard systems, delivering IoT connectivity through cellular, satellite, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other technologies. The team holds enterprise accountability for the telematics product line and network strategy, rationalization, quality, and cost, and connected devices and telecom management are critical enablers of the organization's services growth strategy and digital solutions for dealers and customers.

In this role, you will integrate with new vendors to streamline and automate ongoing operations, working closely with a 10-person team based primarily in Illinois with additional collaboration across an India-based team, in support of the organization's growing eSIM technology capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate test sessions with multiple external vendors and internal engineers, including engineers based in India

• Research and evaluate APIs available from vendors, and collaborate with the Telecom, Systems, and other internal teams to define which APIs need to be implemented

• Create requirements and user stories in DevOps, and define efficient processes to leverage new eSIM technology capabilities and enable new customer-facing functions

• Obtain answers to technical questions and track progress in DevOps, participating in regular status meetings

• Conduct test sessions with engineers at each vendor and across internal teams

• Interact daily with eSIM technical experts on the Telecom team (based in Chicago and Peoria) and with engineers at external vendors

• Collaborate occasionally with other internal teams as needed

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Technical Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience required OR

• Associates degree with 6 years of relevant experience OR

• Master's degree entering directly from college

Top Skills:

• Writing technical requirements and user stories

Additional Technical Skills:

• Experience writing, implementing, or using REST APIs (required)

• Ability to use DevOps (required)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including basic Excel (required)

• Familiarity with the Comprion test system (desired)
