Overview of the Role:

The Futureforce Tech Accelerator is Salesforce's premier early hiring event providing a fast track to interviews for Summer 2027 Software Engineering Internships.

As a Futureforce intern, you'll collaborate with world-class engineering teams on real-world projects that impact millions of people worldwide - while building meaningful connections and experiencing Salesforce's vibrant culture firsthand.

** About the Program:**

The application deadline is May 31. Spots are limited, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early. Selected applicants will be invited to complete a HackerRank technical assessment.

** Candidates who advance through the interview process and are approved to receive an offer will be invited to an all-expense-paid, in-person mandatory experience at Salesforce headquarters in San Francisco from July 22-24, 2026.**

This Futureforce Tech Accelerator on-site experience previews life at Salesforce through career development, networking with engineering leaders and former interns, and an immersive look into the company's culture and your future career.

Important: Candidates must be available to attend all on-site programming from July 22-24, 2026. Preference will be given to candidates who can attend the full in-person experience.

If selected through Futureforce Tech Accelerator, you'll have the opportunity to join Salesforce as a Summer 2027 Software Engineering intern.

Internships are open to current university students actively pursuing a degree with a projected graduation date of December 2027 or later.

** Required Qualifications**

  • Enrolled and currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Returning to school after Summer 2027 to complete your degree
  • Enrolled in a college or university in North America
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming/design, algorithms, and data structures and how to efficiently implement them into a solution
  • Hands-on experience or strong curiosity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) and an eagerness to integrate them into real-world engineering workflows.
  • A budding AI-first mindset - comfortable experimenting with prompting techniques and leveraging AI to learn across the stack, ramp up quickly, and contribute meaningfully from day one.
  • Strong understanding of CS fundamentals and practical coding application
  • Team player with demonstrated collaboration skills

** Preferred Qualifications**

  • Experience using and critically reviewing code and artifacts generated by large language model (LLM) coding assistants and agentic tools
  • Ability to to effectively guide AI tools to achieve desired outcomes
  • Experience using Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini or other agent-based frameworks
  • Coursework in SQL and relational database concepts
  • Proficiency in Java, Javascript and related frameworks
  • Working knowledge of HTML and web technologies
  • Knowledge of front end and back end languages
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and visual
