Job Purpose: The Driveline Engineering team, based in Oak Brook, designs and develops transmissions and axles for CNH's tractor and harvesting product lines. By working on both current production and next-generation driveline systems, the team ensures performance, reliability, and innovation in one of the most critical systems of agricultural equipment. As a Driveline Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with design, modeling, and analysis of driveline components while contributing to real-world projects that impact CNH products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the design, integration, and application of driveline components and systems for driveline programs (Tractor or Harvesting)
• Supporting transmission architecture development activities
• Creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings in Pro-E for parts and component assemblies
• Performing stress and life calculations to confirm that components and systems meet performance requirements
• Troubleshooting and solving complex engineering problems with guidance from the driveline team
• Collaborating with engineers to support production and new product development initiatives
• Traveling as needed to the Racine manufacturing plant or Racine Lakeside test facility to support design validation activities

Experience Required: Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, or a related field.

Pay Transparency: The annual salary for this role is USD $19.57 - $27.81 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
