Media Intern

AllieKits Network is more than a nonprofit - weโ€™re a launchpad for the next generation of creative leaders. Through mentorship, hands-on experience, and business education, we help girls and young women turn ideas into opportunities.

The available 4 internship positions will aid the brand as we move forward toward our ASCEND program.

ASCEND is a creative workforce training program developed by AllieKits Network for young women ages 16โ€“24 interested in video production, branding, and digital storytelling. The program combines hands-on training, mentorship, and project-based learning to help participants build skills, portfolios, and pathways into paid work, freelancing, or continued education. ASCEND was created to address gaps in access, paid opportunities, and industry exposure in the creative sector. Interns who meet the requirements would also be eligible to join the ASCEND program when it launches.

All interns will work with industry professionals from a variety of fields and gain hands on experience in film production, marketing, data analysis, community outreach, etc. All while working for a non profit whose purpose it is to uplift women through the power of community and creativity. 

Job duties would include, but are not limited to: filming events, editing, social media management, flyer and promotional design, office organization, community outreach, data analysis, data organization, etc.

Our goal is to provide real world experience for our interns to help build confidence, opportunity and resumes.

We are located in downtown Long Beach with flexibility to be hybrid and work on Saturdays.
