Business Development Intern - STREAMETRIC

Position Summary

STREAMETRIC is seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Intern to support our growing sales organization. This role will work closely with our full-time Business Development Managers (BDMs) who are responsible for specific geographic territories across North America. The intern will help drive market awareness, strengthen reseller partner engagement, and support sales development activities that contribute to the growth of STREAMETRIC's Cloud SCADA and digital infrastructure solutions for the water and wastewater industry. This position offers hands-on experience in technology sales, channel partner development, market research, and customer engagement within a fast-growing software and industrial technology company.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development Support

· Support Business Development Managers in assigned geographic regions.

· Assist with lead generation, qualification, prospect identification, and account research.

· Maintain and update CRM records, opportunities, contacts, and sales activities.

· Conduct outreach to utilities, municipalities, engineering firms, and industry stakeholders to schedule meetings and introductions for BDMs.

· Track and report sales pipeline activity and key performance metrics.

Reseller Partner Support

· Assist in supporting STREAMETRIC's network of reseller and distribution partners.

· Help coordinate reseller training sessions, webinars, and product demonstrations.

· Monitor partner engagement and identify opportunities for increased market activity.

· Support follow-up communications with partners regarding opportunities, proposals, and marketing initiatives.

· Help maintain partner contact databases and territory information.

Administrative Support

· Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting summaries.

· Assist with proposal development and customer documentation.

· Coordinate meeting schedules and customer follow-up activities.

· Test and implement AI tools to improve the sales process

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Environmental Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
