Role Overview
As a Network Engineer III, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity, optimal performance, and security. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address network-related issues, contribute to network design discussions, and implement best practices to support our growing technology needs by helping to design and support network elements.
  • Network Design & Maintenance: Assist in designing, configuring, and maintaining LAN/WAN/wireless networks, including hardware like routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, resolve connectivity and latency issues, and perform disaster recovery, backups, and restores.
  • Security & Documentation: Collaborate on implementing security measures (firewalls, IDS, access controls), ensure change management compliance, and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Technical Support & Planning: Support administrators and developers, guide junior team members, and contribute to capacity planning and network expansion.
  • Technology Integration & Inventory: Evaluate new networking technologies, maintain inventory and warranty data, and manage voice/data circuits and cabling.

Basic Qyalifications
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in MIS or Computer Science preferred; minimum 7 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), network security principles, and hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and tools like Cisco IOS, ACS, WCS, WLC, MARS, and Stealth Watch.
  • Professional Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and strong collaboration skills in fast-paced environments.
Certifications
  • CCNP Routing and Switching required
  • CCNP Wireless or CCNP Voice preferred

Base Salary Range - $79,000 - $115,000
