Hiring Opportunity: Beachwood Ohio
Our client is hiring a Network Administrator for their facility in Beachwood! Our client is a leader in managing IT Services, Cyber Security, and Cloud Solutions.
The Network Administrator would be responsible for escalation tickets from tier 1, client communication and interaction, backup and disaster recovery review/maintenance restores/deploying, security solutions, business application support, and client onboarding.
Qualified candidates would be experienced with general IT experience, windows server OS, active directory/group policy/DNS, firewall configuration/troubleshooting, switch configuration/troubleshooting, help desk, and customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Tier 2 Helpdesk tickets and escalation tickets from Tier 1
- Client communications and interactions, remotely and in person (local travel avg once a week, travel out-of-state a few times a year)
- Detailed documentation of issues and resolutions
- Network Issues / Outages
- Backup and Disaster Recovery Review / Maintenance Restores / Deploying
- Security Solution Review / Maintaining / Deploying - MFA, A/V, SAT, SIEM
- Business Application Support / Securing Third Party Support - POS, PMS, Hotel Applications, Financial and Accounting Applications
- Client Onboarding
- Firewalls (Watchguard preferred)- advanced troubleshooting - policies, traffic monitoring, configuration
- Microsoft 365 Admin/Entra (Azure) Admin console experience, troubleshooting mail flow, mail rules, connectors, etc.
- VMWare/Hyper-V- build, migrate VMs
- Networking LAN/WAN concepts, structure, and equipment - understand VLANs, configuring switches
- Knowledge of Windows Server OS (2012-2022)
- Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS edits
- Azure Virtual Desktop - administering/troubleshooting
- Basic CMD and PowerShell Scripting
Job Requirements:
- 7+ years IT experience
- 5+ years" experience working with Windows Server OS, Active Directory/Group Policy/ DNS, Firewall config/troubleshooting, Switch config/troubleshooting (i.e. VLANs)
- Have a continuous improvement mindset and team player attitude
- Be able to handle multiple priorities concurrently
- Detail oriented
- Customer service focused/ability to communicate clearly
