Three (3) years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Software Define Networking (SDN), Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) and hybrid cloud infrastructure
Five (5) years of experience in supporting the large routing, switching and security infrastructure
Two (2) years of experience in the Network Automation
Current certification in any of the below
1) Cisco Certified Infrastructure Engineer (CCIE)
2) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

Responsibilities:
Provide expertise in the design and implementation of modern technologies that requires in-depth knowledge and experience in the Software Defined Network, Software Defined - Wide Area Network, Software Defined Access, Network Virtual function and Infoblox.
Provide on-site support in the deployment and implementation of Network gears at CalPERS datacenters.
Provides expertise in the networking and telecommunication related technologies as it pertains to enterprise routing, datacenter switching, VOIP, Wireless communication, Wire communication and data transport architecture.
Analyze, develop and write specifications and make final engineering recommendations on various network automation services and systems.
Provide guidance in design, implementation and hardening of cloud infrastructure and edge layer.
Access and provides recommendation in emerging cloud technologies, virtualization, automation, and orchestration technologies and service offerings.
Configure Border Gateway Protocol, (BGP), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF).
Proficient in security products; firewalls, VPN, content filtering, VPN and access controls.
Provide consultancy to team in modern datacenter, multi-tier application and multi-tenant datacenters.
Provide support in the network automation using scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, Shell, Yet Another Markup Language (YAML) Json and POSTMAN
Provide and utilize documented materials (e.g., processes, procedures, specifications, etc.) to provide technical knowledge transfer to team members.
