Position: Resident Service Associate

Reports to: General Manager 

Job Status:  Casual position with shifts from  7am-2pm or 1pm-8pm , available Monday through Sunday onsite

Start Date: As soon as possible 

Location: 13855 68th Ave Surrey, BC V3W2G9

Pay: $17.85 - $18.50 /hr

Must Have: Provide Proof of Flu Shots and Covid Vaccine Records

 *Please note that hours of work, days off, and work area may be subject to change based on operational requirements and in accordance with the collective agreement. 

 Your Day to Day:

  • Provide assistance with daily living activities to ensure residents' comfort and well-being.
  • Coordinate and communicate with residents, families, and staff to address concerns and needs.
  • Support and engage residents in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
  • Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting changes to appropriate staff.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety, privacy, and confidentiality standards.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Grade 12 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience WHMIS certification
  •  Experience working in Senior Resident Facility preferred.
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial demonstrating expertise in cleaning, sanitation, and safety protocols. 

Nice To Have: 

  • Empathy and understanding of seniors' needs.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Effective teamwork and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient in English communication (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of Korean language and culture is an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a warm, noisy environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Competent in operating related equipment.
  • Well-groomed with high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Physically able to perform job duties and free from communicable diseases.
