Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Carrier Credentials Associate to support carrier appointment, credential, and portal access administration across our agency network. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing information, coordinating with internal teams and insurance carriers, and ensuring carrier access is accurate, compliant, and up to date. What You’ll Do

·        Submit, track, and follow up on carrier appointment and access requests for producers and agency staff.

·        Coordinate with licensing, carrier, operations, compliance, marketing, and production teams to complete authorization and credentialing requests.

·        Request, maintain, update, and deactivate carrier website credentials and portal access for producers and staff.

·        Troubleshoot login, password, access, and permission issues with carrier representatives and internal users.

·        Maintain organized records of carrier credentials, appointments, portal access, state access, user permissions, carrier codes, and access limitations.

·        Support onboarding and offboarding by updating employee credential records and coordinating carrier access setup.

·        Monitor open credentialing, appointment, and access requests to ensure timely follow-up and completion.

·        Prepare status updates on pending requests, completed access changes, unresolved issues, and carrier responsiveness.

·        Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to streamline workflows, documentation, and request tracking.

·        Support special projects and additional duties as assigned.


What We’re Looking For

·        Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.

·        Ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, and follow-ups at the same time.

·        Clear written and verbal communication skills with internal teams and external carrier contacts.

·        Comfort working with confidential credentialing information and approved password management tools.

·        Ability to research, verify, and validate carrier codes, appointment statuses, and access requirements.

·        Collaborative approach to problem-solving across departments and regions.

·        Commitment to maintaining documentation that supports audit readiness, compliance review, and operational continuity.


Preferred Experience

·        2–4 years of related experience preferred.

·        Insurance carrier experience preferred; comparable related experience will be considered.

·        Experience using project management software, especially Monday.com, is preferred.
