Job Summary:
Hustler Casino is seeking a Network Administrator to manage and optimize network infrastructure for two casino locations in Gardena. The role involves ensuring high availability, security, and performance across critical systems while maintaining seamless connectivity and troubleshooting any IT issues that arise.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure for two casino locations in Gardena. This includes Cisco routers and switches, SonicWall firewalls, and Meraki switches and firewalls.
• Monitor and maintain network devices and services to ensure secure, functional, and high-performing network environments. Configure and manage VPNs, VLANs, and other networking protocols to support casino operations.
• Support system administration tasks, including managing Windows servers, VMware (ESXi, vSAN), and backup systems like Veeam. Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and system patching.
• Implement and enforce strong security protocols across both casino properties to protect sensitive data. Ensure compliance with PCI standards and regularly audit systems for vulnerabilities.
• Diagnose and resolve network, hardware, and software issues in a timely manner to maintain network and system uptime. Ensure minimal downtime and service disruptions across both locations.
• Work with vendors for network upgrades, hardware support, and IT services. Evaluate and recommend new technologies for casino IT operations, including surveillance systems and access controls.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, system setups, and operational procedures across both casinos.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Ability to travel between both casino locations in Gardena as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in confined spaces like server rooms.
• Flexibility to work outside of regular hours to maintain 24/7 network operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in network administration, ideally in high-availability environments like casinos or hospitality.
• Strong experience with Cisco routers and switches, SonicWall firewalls, and Meraki switches and firewalls.
• Experience managing Windows Server environments, VMware, Dell hardware, and Veeam Backup & Replication.
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is required.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for network and system issues.
• Strong understanding of network security practices, including firewalls, encryption, and PCI compliance.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple locations.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
