The Opportunity
As an Audit Korean Business Network Associate, you will engage in financial statement audits, contributing to the transparency and integrity of client financial reporting. Within our Assurance practice, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. Responsibilities
- Conducting financial statement audits in compliance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Applying auditing methodologies to assess financial documents and internal controls
- Reviewing and verifying financial documents to confirm accuracy and adherence to accounting policies
- Analyzing financial trends and data to provide insights and recommendations for client decision-making
- Utilizing data analysis and interpretation skills to identify patterns and inform audit processes
- Collaborating with team members to support client engagements and deliver quality audit services
- Engaging in project management tasks to maintain timelines and manage audit deliverables
- Monitoring and addressing potential risks through effective issue management and risk identification

What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (i.e., read, write, speak) with business level fluency in Korean and English
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles and job seekers have completed or are in the process of completing their final academic year of educational requirements
