Job description

Overview

Are you passionate about building secure, high-performing enterprise networks while leading a team of talented engineers? As the Network Manager, you will lead the strategy, design, implementation, and operation of our enterprise network infrastructure. You'll oversee a team of network architects, engineers, and administrators while ensuring our global network environment is secure, reliable, scalable, and positioned to support future growth.

In this role, you'll partner across IT and the business to modernize network services, drive operational excellence, and deliver innovative infrastructure solutions that enable business success.

Responsibilities Network Leadership
  • Lead the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the enterprise network infrastructure.

  • Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of LAN, SD-WAN, wireless, routing, switching, VPN, firewall, and cloud networking environments.

  • Oversee network architecture, lifecycle management, technology upgrades, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

  • Lead major incident response and drive continuous improvements in network reliability and performance.

Security & Infrastructure
  • Partner with Information Security to maintain a secure enterprise network architecture.

  • Oversee firewalls, secure remote access, network segmentation, network access control, and vulnerability remediation.

  • Support cloud networking initiatives across Azure and AWS while ensuring compliance with organizational security standards.

Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network architects, engineers, and administrators.

  • Establish team goals, manage priorities, coach team members, and support hiring and performance management.

  • Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and business leaders to deliver scalable technology solutions.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Vendor & Financial Management
  • Manage vendor relationships, technology evaluations, licensing, contracts, and hardware lifecycle planning.

  • Develop and manage network operating and capital budgets.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of progressive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network environments.

  • 3+ years of experience leading technical teams.

  • Strong expertise in enterprise routing, switching, wireless networking, SD-WAN, and network security.

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise network environments.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Cisco CCNP or CCIE certification.

  • Aruba, HPE, Juniper, Palo Alto, or Fortinet certifications.

  • ITIL Foundation certification.

  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS networking.

Technical Experience

Experience with enterprise networking technologies such as:

  • Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms

  • Aruba or Cisco wireless

  • Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco firewalls

  • SD-WAN technologies

  • Routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)

  • VPN, DNS, DHCP, IPAM

  • Network Access Control (Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass)

  • Azure and AWS networking

  • Microsoft 365 networking

  • Network monitoring and performance management tools
