About the Opportunity
SNI Technology is seeking a System Administrator for our client in the Dallas, TX area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and tackle whatever needs to get done.
We're looking for a hungry, self-motivated problem solver who thrives in an environment where no two days are exactly alike. The ideal candidate may have experience working as a one-person IT department or in a small IT environment where they were responsible for a wide range of technical responsibilities.
What You'll Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities may range from routine user support to more advanced Microsoft cloud and endpoint management projects, including:
  • Administer and support Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
  • Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access.
  • Troubleshoot and support Microsoft Office 365 environments.
  • Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and monitor Power Automate flows.
  • Develop and maintain automation to improve IT processes and workflows.
  • Support Azure services and administration.
  • Assist with the migration from on-premises Active Directory to Microsoft Intune.
  • Develop and maintain Intune policies and endpoint configurations.
  • Support laptops, printers, user devices, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot everyday technical issues and provide hands-on user support.
  • Collaborate with other team members on technical projects and initiatives.
  • Assist with emerging Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Copilot.
  • Work on tasks ranging from routine administrative requests to larger systems and infrastructure projects.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and see them through to completion.

What We're Looking For
  • 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID
  • 2-3 years of experience with Power Automate
  • 2-3 years of experience creating and managing Power Automate flows
  • 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with on-premises Active Directory
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration
  • Experience migrating on-premises Active Directory environments to Intune
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Willingness to tackle both routine and complex technical tasks
  • Strong customer-service and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Experience
  • 1-3 years of Microsoft Copilot experience
  • 1-3 years of Power BI experience
  • Experience working in a small IT environment or serving as a primary/sole IT resource
  • Broad hands-on experience across systems administration, endpoint management, cloud technologies, and user support

Work Environment
  • Candidates must be located in the Dallas, TX area.
  • The role will require a minimum 50/50 onsite and remote schedule
  • This is a hands-on role that requires someone comfortable working onsite and interacting directly with employees and the IT team.

Why This Opportunity?
This is a great fit for a versatile IT professional who wants to have a direct impact across a broad range of technologies and responsibilities rather than being limited to a narrow administrative function.
If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, taking ownership, and being the person others can count on when something needs to get done, we'd like to hear from you.
