Job Summary:
Parsons Corporation is an innovative company that values people and fosters growth. They are seeking a Senior Digital Network Analyst to join their mission-oriented team, where the role involves analyzing network data and providing timely feedback to ensure mission success.
Responsibilities:
• Leverage a wide variety of tools to pinpoint relevant information and provide timely feedback to stakeholders to ensure mission success.
• Work with large datasets, choosing the proper tools to organize and analyze
• Analyze packet data and binary data to extract valuable information
• Interact daily with customers, developers, and other project stakeholders
• Reverse Engineering and/or Protocol Reverse Engineering
Qualifications:
Required:
• US Citizenship with Top Secret Clearance W/Polygraph
• BS degree in related discipline; will consider experience in lieu of degree
• 5+ years of experience working with Wireshark or other network analysis tools
• Experience/knowledge of network configurations
• Good understanding of various network protocols such as Routing protocols, TCP, VoIP, Mobile/Cellular, Tunneling protocols/VPNs, DNS, Application layer protocols
Preferred:
• Familiarity with other communications technologies
• Telephony
• Mobile communications
• Adept at using regular expressions and other parsing techniques
• Enjoys exploring binary data, finding patterns, and reverse engineering proprietary protocols
• Experience with creating custom programs/scripts for automating tasks
• Experience working in a Linux command-line environment
• Ability to communicate well with customers, developers, and other mission partners
• Stays up-to-date on worldwide events/technology trends/cybersecurity
