Job description

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience on a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, Cisco Routers, Cisco switches and wireless is required.
  • Excellent understanding of Enterprise ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Process - Incident, Knowledge, Problem & Change Management.
  • Experience monitoring systems with tools like ITOM, SolarWinds, SCOM, HPE OpenView, Aria (vROPS) and APC Struxureware.
  • Good Knowledge about Windows/Linux Server administration & virtualization is needed.
  • Good knowledge about Storage solutions & Cloud infrastructure monitoring is desirable
  • Continuously analyze monitoring platform behavior and give recommendations for improvements (systems/infrastructure).
  • Incident response and resolution within SLAs with good analytical and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Work with telco providers to report network issues.
  • Knowledge of any scripting language, preferably Python.

  • Check monitoring mailbox and respond in a timely manner
  • Receive emergency calls though Cisco WebEx Desktop.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting, document cases and escalate if needed.
  • Identify and resolve predictive or proactive failures.
  • Perform planned maintenance activities.
