Job Summary
Textron is seeking a Network Analyst I to help support and improve our global network infrastructure. In this role, you will work with experienced IT professionals to maintain reliable and secure network services that connect employees and business operations around the world. You'll gain hands-on experience with networking, wireless, voice systems, security technologies, and cloud-connected environments while building your technical skills and career
What You'll Do
  • Support enterprise network technologies including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, and voice services.
  • Assist with network upgrades, deployments, and modernization projects.
  • Help identify opportunities to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor network performance and help resolve connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshoot networking services such as routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, wireless, and security-related issues.
  • Support enterprise voice platforms, including Microsoft Teams Voice and telephony services.
  • Work with security teams to maintain secure network access and firewall policies.
  • Partner with managed service providers and internal IT teams to deliver reliable network services.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical business systems.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and wireless networking.
  • Basic knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls and access controls.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to learn and grow in networking, security, automation, and cloud technologies.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications
  • CCNA certification or progress toward certification.
  • Internship or hands-on experience in networking, telecommunications, cybersecurity, or infrastructure support.
  • Experience with Cisco technologies, firewalls, ServiceNow, or enterprise networking tools.
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or cloud networking concepts.
  • Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
