Job description

GLOTECH, Inc., founded in 1995, is a privately and minority-owned company serving military, federal and commercial clients.  We are a successful Information Technology firm with a large staff currently providing superior information technology and advanced engineering services around the world. Our success is built on attracting and retaining quality staff through a highly competitive benefits package with a special focus on continuing career development and corporate financial support. We also maintain a collegial working environment and offer our staff opportunities to improve and enhance their skills.

GLOTECH is committed to a comprehensive employee benefits program that helps our employees stay healthy, feel secure and maintain a work/life balance. We provide medical dental and vision care, disability insurance (short and long term), Life & AD&D Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Commuter Transportation and Parking Reimbursement), and Employee Assistance Programs. Additionally, we provide Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Holiday Pay, Educational Assistance, Certification /Training Reimbursement, and a 401(k)-retirement savings contribution plan (with employer match).

GLOTECH Inc. seeks an IT Administrator to own day-to-day operations of a Microsoft 365 GCC High and Azure Government.  This position will be the primary operator of our GCC High identity and collaboration stack and the person who keeps laptops, phones, and office printers working for people who are not sitting next to you. You will also help implement and evidence security controls—not as a paper exercise, but as part of how the tenant and devices are actually run. The IT Administrator will also help the company stay aligned with federal cybersecurity expectations, including CMMS.

The role reports to the IT Manager and supports two primary office locations, plus a distributed remote workforce.  This is a part-time, W-2 position (1099 negotiable) with limited benefits; paid time off; paid holidays; and retirement benefits as applicable. The estimated pay range for this role is $38.00-$40.00/hr.

  • Administer Microsoft 365 GCC High and Azure Government / Entra ID: accounts, groups, licensing, mail, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Enforce MFA, Conditional Access, and least-privilege access; keep joiner/mover/leaver processes tight.
  • Remotely manage Windows laptops (Intune/Endpoint Manager or equivalent): imaging/enrollment, patching, compliance, BitLocker, and retirement.
  • Manage smartphones and app-protection policies; execute remote wipe and lost-device procedures.
  • Support IP printers and print services.
  • Provide responsive support to office and remote staff; maintain inventory and practical runbooks.
  • Assist the IT Manager with CMMC / NIST SP 800-171 technical controls, logging, baselines, access reviews, and assessment evidence.
  • Work within change control; document what you change and why.

  • U.S. citizen; able to obtain a DoD clearance (active clearance a plus).
  • Several years administering Microsoft 365 / Azure in a live environment; GCC High or Azure Government experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven remote endpoint management (laptops and phones) and experience with networked printers.
  • Security instincts: MFA, logging, least privilege, and clean documentation.
  • Comfort supporting two offices plus remote users; periodic travel.
  • Security+ (or other DoD 8140 IAT II) now or within six months.
  • Federal contractor and CMMC / NIST SP 800-171 experience strongly preferred.

GLOTECH, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
