We are currently seeking a Network Support Administrator - Active Secret Clearance to join our team in Newport News, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).
Job Duties:
  • Implement and maintain the enterprise network for the CVN IT
  • Monitor the network daily
  • Monitor the network proxy for policy violations
  • Maintain Systems Configuration Control
  • Maintain Hardware/ Software Lifecycle Management
  • Install and configure shipboard & local/metropolitan area network (LAN/MAN) solution.
  • Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot all network related issues and outages.
  • Generate and provide customer usage/bandwidth utilization reports and perform network health checks.
  • Perform Uniform Resource Locater (URL) filtering/monitoring activities to restrict access to malicious websites.
  • Respond to outages within the enterprise both shipboard spaces and within the LAN/MAN.
  • Propose technical and business solutions/upgrades to address new/future requirements.
  • Troubleshoot circuit/internet access issues with commercial Internet Service Provider (ISP).
  • Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot, switches, routers, and security device connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot copper and fiber optic network cabling.
  • Perform routine vulnerability patching, vendor updates, and firmware updates.
  • Create training documentation for new users and conduct periodic training if necessary.
  • Create and maintain network diagram drawings and configuration management documents.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience monitoring the network daily, monitoring the network for policy violations and maintaining Systems Configuration Control.
  • Network+ or higher level baseline certification within 90 days of start
  • Must possess an active DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification at the IAT Level II level (such as Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, or equivalent).
  • Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate/bachelors degree

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $68,520 - $110,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. If the position offered in temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
