ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in Information Technology, business systems, data analytics, and end-user support within a collaborative nonprofit environment. The IT Intern will gain exposure to real-world technology projects, enterprise applications, data reporting, process improvement initiatives, and help desk operations while working alongside experienced IT professionals.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN & EXPERIENCE


IT Help Desk & Technical Support Experience

The IT Intern will gain valuable experience supporting daily technology operations by:

  • Serving as a first-level resource for users experiencing technical issues.
  • Assisting staff with hardware, software, and network-related troubleshooting.
  • Supporting the setup and configuration of computers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
  • Assisting users with Microsoft 365 applications and other business software tools.
  • Managing and documenting support requests, solutions, and technical procedures.
  • Providing audio/visual support for meetings, presentations, and conference room technology.
  • Participating in equipment inventory, maintenance, and technology deployment projects.
  • Collaborating with IT team members to support organizational technology initiatives.
