Position Description
We are looking for an Architect – Enterprise Platforms to lead enterprise architecture strategy across business, application, data, integration, and security domains. This role will define and drive a multi-year North Star architecture and align enterprise systems and Azure cloud strategy to support scalable, secure, and high-performing business operations.
The ideal candidate brings deep enterprise architecture expertise, strong integration experience across packaged and custom applications, and the ability to translate complex business workflows into scalable platform solutions. This position will be based out of Santa Clara, CA (preferred).
Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain the enterprise architecture across business, application, data, integration, and security domains.
  • Establish and drive a multi-year North Star architecture and roadmap across enterprise platforms.
  • Develop reference architectures, reusable patterns, and guardrails across enterprise applications and custom-built platforms.
  • Architect integrations across enterprise applications, fintech, loan origination/servicing, utility, and partner ecosystems.
  • Drive API-first and event-driven integration strategies leveraging middleware and Azure cloud services.
  • Lead architecture governance processes and chair the Architecture Review Board.
  • Own and align Azure cloud architecture with enterprise platform requirements, ensuring scalability and interoperability.
  • Establish enterprise standards for reliability, performance, security, compliance, observability, and cost efficiency.
  • Translate complex business workflows into scalable, secure platform solutions.
  • Partner with Data Architecture to ensure alignment of data models, governance, and integration patterns.
  • Communicate architectural strategy and decisions to executive stakeholders and promote best practices across engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
  • 10–15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems architecture, or solution architecture roles.
  • Deep expertise across application, integration, data, and security architecture domains.
  • Strong experience integrating enterprise business systems (e.g., fintech, credit, servicing, or operational systems).
  • Experience defining enterprise architecture standards, governance models, and review processes.
  • Proven experience designing API-first and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure (or comparable hyperscaler) cloud architecture, including scalability, security, and interoperability patterns.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Travel may be required up to 10%, depending on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Sales/Service/Experience/Platform Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable).
  • Experience with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle, NetSuite, or comparable suites).
  • Experience with origination, servicing, payments, or financial systems integrated with enterprise platforms.
  • Familiarity with solar/energy workflows, financing, and utility integrations.
  • Experience with middleware platforms, API gateways, and event streaming architectures (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Kafka, Azure Service Bus/Event Grid).
  • Familiarity with TOGAF or comparable enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Solar Industry experience (Renewable).
