Job description

Systems Analyst, Finance (NetSuite)

Location: San Jose, CA (Headquarters) | Partial Remote Work Available
Ayar Labs is shattering AI data bottlenecks by moving data at the speed of light. As pioneers of co-packaged optics (CPO), we are using light instead of electricity to move data faster, further, and with a fraction of the energy needed to fuel the explosive growth of AI models.
Backed by industry giants like NVIDIA, AMD, Mediatek and Intel and manufactured in partnership with the world’s leading semiconductor ecosystem, Ayar Labs’ co-packaged optics solution is key to unleashing next-generation AI scale-up architectures.
Position Overview

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer and embedded with the Finance and Accounting teams, the NetSuite Financial Systems Analyst is the business-and-technical interface between those teams and our ERP. You will be the person who makes sure Finance and Accounting get the most out of NetSuite and the third-party applications connected to it — translating business needs into well-designed system solutions and turning the ERP into a true source of truth. You will lead implementations and enhancements, own testing and troubleshooting, and build the reports and dashboards the business runs on. The ideal candidate pairs accounting fluency with strong, hands-on NetSuite expertise and can move comfortably between financial conversations and system configuration.
What You'll Achieve
  • Be the Finance–ERP Bridge: Serve as the primary interface between the Finance and Accounting teams and NetSuite, translating business requirements into scalable system solutions and helping each business unit fully utilize the platform.
  • Own the rollout of new NetSuite functionality and third-party applications end to end — requirements, design, configuration, testing, and go-live — keeping projects aligned with company objectives.
  • Design and maintain workflows with SuiteFlow to streamline core finance operations such as Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report, reducing manual effort and improving controls.
  • Build and maintain saved searches, SuiteAnalytics workbooks, custom reports, and dashboards that give Finance and the broader business timely, accurate visibility.
  • Define and run test plans (including UAT), diagnose and resolve system and integration issues, and act as the go-to support resource for NetSuite users.
  • Maintain and improve integrations between NetSuite and other business systems, ensuring clean, reliable data flows across the application landscape.
  • Manage roles, permissions, and system controls, and develop the documentation, standard operating procedures, and training that keep the platform well-governed and well-used.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 3–6 years working with NetSuite and financial/business systems, including hands-on configuration and support in a finance or accounting context.
  • Strong proficiency configuring NetSuite — SuiteFlow workflows, saved searches, SuiteAnalytics, custom reports and dashboards, and user/role administration.
  • Comfortable reading, troubleshooting, and lightly modifying SuiteScript (JavaScript-based), and partnering with developers for heavier customization.
  • Solid understanding of core accounting principles and financial processes (GL, AP/AR, month-end close, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report) — enough to partner with Accounting as a peer.
  • Experience managing integrations between NetSuite and third-party applications, with an eye for data integrity across systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate cross-functional business requirements into practical, well-documented system solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certification: NetSuite Administrator or SuiteFoundation certification is a plus.

Compensation amp; Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base pay, Ayar Labs offers equity (new-hire stock options plus an evergreen program), a 401(k) with immediate-vesting employer match, premium medical/dental/vision coverage (100% paid for employees, 75% for dependents), twelve weeks of paid parental leave, daily lunch, and more.
