About the Role
As Business Development Manager - Software Solutions, you will be responsible for driving the growth of MaxGrip's Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and Asset Performance Management (APM) software business. You will identify, develop, and close new software opportunities while building trusted relationships with maintenance, reliability, operations, and asset management leaders.
Working closely with MaxGrip consultants, solution architects, delivery teams, and software vendor partners, you will help customers improve asset reliability, maintenance effectiveness, operational performance, and business outcomes through the application of technology and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with sales leadership, technical and regional operations to execute a sales strategy to grow MaxGrip's EAM, CMMS, and APM software business.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across target industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Conduct customer meetings, workshops, and value-based solution presentations.
  • Collaborate with consultants, technical experts, and software partners to develop winning solutions.
  • Develop business cases and value propositions that clearly demonstrate customer benefits and ROI.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline, forecast, and sales activity records within the CRM system.
  • Achieve software revenue, margin, and growth targets.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, digital transformation initiatives, and asset management technologies.

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles and engaging senior decision-makers.
  • Strong understanding of industrial operations, maintenance, reliability, or asset management is preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
