Physical Therapy Assistant

Location: Monterey, California

Pay Rate: $1,350 to $1,406 /week

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: Day Shift

Guaranteed Hours: 38 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 1 year required

About the Role

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week quick-start contract opportunity in Monterey, California. This role supports therapy services in a skilled nursing facility setting and requires strong patient care skills, active California licensure, and preferred experience with NetHealth / Rehab Optima documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist

• Assist patients with mobility, strength, balance, gait training, and functional recovery

• Support individualized therapy plans based on patient needs and progress

• Document therapy services accurately using NetHealth / Rehab Optima

• Collaborate with the therapy team and facility staff to support quality patient outcomes

Requirements

• Active California Physical Therapy Assistant License Required

• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience required

• Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred

• NetHealth / Rehab Optima experience preferred

• Must be available for day shift schedule
