Job description

Job Responsibilities
Strategic EPC & Contractor Relationship Development
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with national and regional EPC firms involved in large electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Engage EPC partners in the early stages of project planning to position the company as the preferred provider for RESA Power's portfolio of offerings.
  • Support project pursuit strategies by aligning the relevant internal teams to provide the strongest portfolio offering.

OEM & Manufacturer Alliance Development
  • Build partnerships with transformer manufacturers, switchgear OEMs, and power systems equipment providers.
  • Develop collaborative relationships to support installation, commissioning, warranty support, and ongoing lifecycle service programs.
  • Identify opportunities for joint project pursuits and service support agreements.

Project Pipeline Development
  • Identify upcoming capital projects within utilities, data centers, renewable energy, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain a national pipeline of opportunities tied to EPC-led infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with regional sales and operations teams to support proposals, project execution planning, and resource allocation.

Market Intelligence & Strategic Positioning
  • Track EPC project pipelines and major infrastructure developments.
  • Identify opportunities where transformer testing, commissioning, maintenance, and reliability services will be required.
  • Provide insights to leadership on emerging markets, project opportunities, and strategic partnerships.

Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with regional sales teams, field service leaders, and technical experts to support major project pursuits.
  • Assist with complex proposals, contract negotiations, and technical scope alignment.
  • Ensure project opportunities are transitioned effectively from business development to operational teams.

Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, or project development within the power systems industry.
  • Demonstrated experience working with EPC contractors, electrical contractors, or power systems OEMs.
  • Familiarity with NETA testing standards and electrical commissioning services.
  • Strong understanding of power distribution systems, transformers, substations, and medium/high voltage equipment.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in industries such as electrical testing and commissioning services, transformer service and maintenance, utility or substation projects, data center power infrastructure and industrial power systems
  • Working knowledge of NETA ATS / MTS standards, NFPA 70B maintenance practices, and transformer testing and field service programs
