As a Relationship Manager, you will acquire, maintain, and grow profitable long-term relationships principally focused on Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) and High Net Worth (HNW) individual’s resident in or have a nexus to Asia markets as well as Washington, DC.

The role holder will be an exceptional team player and client focused individual. This individual will establish new relationships focused on Asia markets to generate new AUM and Gross Revenue.

As our High-Net-Worth Relationship Manager, you will:

  • Combine client relationship management with strong risk assessment and management capabilities ensuring the required credit quality & requisite returns on risk
    Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
    Be a core part of our team, originating target market clients focused on investment AUM, lending, and Advisory services collaborating with US network as well as developing self-sourced prospects and referral sources in Washington, DC area
    Expected to grow revenues across allocated portfolio and originate new revenue streams as well as increase HSBC’s share of client wallet involving product specialists to ensure product capabilities are in line with UHNW and HNW client requirements
    Establish and maintain networks for co-operation with other HSBC businesses, to support the creation of solutions to customer needs that span geographical/product boundaries and regulatory environments

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Familiarity in working with clients and prospects who are high-potential HNW/UHNW clients
    Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation
    Highly developed communication skills for use in direct client contact and problem solving
    Excellent understanding of financial markets and products,
    Ability to provide strong financial and statistical analysis
    Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems
    Series 7 and 66 licenses required
    Bachelor’s Degree required
    Additional language skills preferred (Mandarin, Cantonese and/or Hindi fluency)
