Job Description

The Senior Web Developer position is responsible for the design, creation, development, testing and support of clients websites. Provides oversight of all process, data flows and interfaces that feed content to all clients websites or provide solutions/services externally to clients constituents. Leads the usability analysis of all websites to ensure members and other business constituents needs are met. Provides custom web application development using the.NET Framework, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server and other advanced components of Microsoft technology and provide training to programmer analysts who support the Web Services Manager's responsibilities. Works with business managers to create effective UI solutions that support business requirements.

  • Lead the development of new application components using the Microsoft technology stack.
  • Oversee the development of new web technologies, including the development of innovative and engaging web pages for campaign activity.
  • Create technical specifications based on functional requirements and industry based best practices.
  • Manage the identification and escalation of production problems.
  • Manage the prioritization efforts to maintain and repair the existing web applications.
  • Manage the operational effectiveness of the current web environments.
  • Other responsibilities as designated in support of organizational priorities.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years as a Web Developer/Programmer
  • Deep Microsoft platform skills.
  • Experience with.NET Framework, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML 5, JavaScript.
  • Full software development lifecycle experience on enterprise-class, scalable applications.
  • Full stack developer, with ability to design, and develop backend/server code and front-end.
  • Excellent communication, both written and spoken English, with both technical and non-technical people. Ability to explain why a design works or why it doesn't.
  • An understanding of responsive design and experience of delivering solutions to different resolutions and/or devices.

A proven track record of previous success in delivering scalable and complex web solution.
