Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Software Architect to support enterprise modernization, remediation, and accessibility initiatives for DMV transformation programs. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in .NET, ColdFusion, web application architecture, accessibility remediation, and enterprise system modernization. This role requires providing technical leadership across the software development lifecycle while supporting application enhancements, WCAG compliance, coding remediation, testing, security, and deployment activities for enterprise web applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Remediate and enhance enterprise applications to meet WCAG 2.2 AA and accessibility standards
  • Perform application analysis, coding modifications, and technical remediation activities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications and reusable software components
  • Create business logic, application services, and scalable software solutions
  • Develop testing strategies, test plans, and application validation approaches
  • Implement security controls, authentication, and access management mechanisms
  • Design and implement transaction logging and audit processes
  • Develop technical documentation, user guides, and training materials
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployments, and post-deployment support activities
  • Provide architectural guidance and technical oversight across application modernization initiatives


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform project planning, technical documentation, and system analysis activities
  • Resolve application defects, troubleshoot production issues, and support remediation efforts
  • Develop functional specifications and technical design documentation
  • Support business rule implementation and enterprise system enhancements
