We're seeking a highly driven Sr. Full Stack BI Engineer to build next-generation data products that transform how our internal teams and external partners consume insights. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, BI, and full-stack development, focused on creating a unified "Cockpit" experience that eliminates fragmented reporting and delivers intuitive, real-time, actionable intelligence. If you thrive in building end-to-end data experiences-this is your opportunity to make a visible, enterprise-wide impact.

This is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office at least three days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

What You'll Do

  • Design and build a centralized data cockpit consolidating multiple data sources into a seamless, user-friendly experience.
  • Develop front-end applications using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind to deliver modern, intuitive visualizations.
  • Build and manage backend services (Java, Spring Boot on Cloud Run) to support data delivery and APIs.
  • Create and maintain robust BI solutions using Power BI / Fabric, Looker (LookML), and Tableau.
  • Develop embedded analytics (Looker Embed or similar) for internal and external vendor-facing products.
  • Integrate and orchestrate APIs and data pipelines to enable real-time and batch data access.
  • Manage data storage and workflows across Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), GCS, and Pub/Sub.
  • Ensure scalable, secure architecture including Okta SSO and enterprise integrations. (Atlassian, Gemini AI)
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into high-impact visual data products.
  • Champion data visualization best practices to improve usability and eliminate manual reporting.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience in full stack development (frontend backend) in a data-driven environment.
  • Proven expertise in data visualization and UX/UI design for BI products.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI / Microsoft Fabric. (required)
  • Experience with Looker (LookML) or similar BI platforms. (required)
  • Experience with Tableau. (strongly preferred); Cognos is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience with API integrations. (required)
  • Solid backend/data experience with data modeling, pipelines, and database design. (required)
  • Experience building embedded analytics solutions. (Looker Embed or similar strongly preferred)
