Job description

General Statement of the Job:  Under limited supervision, provides professional services to help students overcome or compensate for deficiencies in occupational performance areas to gain optimum benefit from District special education programming.  Reports to the Director for Special Services.

 

Terms of Contract:  190 Days

 

Salary:  $51,931 - $79,436

 

Minimum Training and Experience:  Requires a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy supplemented by up to four months of experience in pediatric rehabilitation or school occupational therapy, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

 

Special Requirements:  Must be licensed in South Carolina as an occupational therapist or be eligible for licensure and must possess a valid state driver's license. Must be physically able to perform the requirements of the position.
