The Regional HSE Manager will be knowledgeable in the area of industrial / manufacturing safety while ensuring alignment with our Exyte Incident Free Workplace (IFW) culture. The manager will have the ability to manage multiple locations within their area of responsibility
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
  • Manages site safety program and implements improvements to assure that those managing the work embrace safety as part of the work culture.
  • Where applicable - This individual will have knowledge pertaining to only manufacturing but also field services where team members may be required to work at clients' facilities.
  • Ability to work with site leadership to ensure corrective action are properly implemented and leading indicators are being properly aligned to.
  • Have a good understanding of the Hierarchy of Controls & can work with leadership on developing Job Hazard Analysis / Risk Assessments.
  • Maintains liaison with outside organizations such as clinics, fire departments, mutual aid societies, and rescue teams to assure correct site information and assistance to support for the project.
  • Conducts and communicates incident investigation findings to minimize reoccurrence, assures the preparation of accident reports, and confirms closure of corrective actions.
  • Encourages and promotes the value of early incident or injury reporting from those onsite.
  • Encourages the submittal of near misses, good catches, lesson learned or best practices and promotes the recognition of those helping with that effort.
  • Experience in managing safety at multiple locations is required
  • Other duties as assigned

• Minimum of 10 years of industrial / Manufacturing HSE Experience
• Must have one of the following Professional Certifications/License or be in pursuit of:
• Occupational Health & Safety Technician (OHST)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional organization and coordination skills
