Become a Key Player as a Senior Inspector

You will ensure finished parts meet strict aerospace quality and dimensional standards, supporting first article and final inspection activities. You will work onsite on first shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM), collaborating with production, engineering, and quality stakeholders to release product to customers and support special process witness requirements. Your work directly impacts product acceptance, manufacturing flow, and customer satisfaction.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Perform semi-complex to complex dimensional and visual inspections of machined parts, castings, forgings, and assemblies using precision measuring instruments and inspection set-ups
  • Layout and measure hole locations and centerlines to control machining cycles during manufacture
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and envelope inspections
  • Maintain accurate acceptance and rejection records and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to determine acceptability
  • Identify non-conformances, participate in root cause investigations, and prepare required documentation
  • Achieve and maintain full Delegated Quality Representative (DQR) status and independently perform delegated inspection and product release for applicable customers
  • Support special process witness and sign-off requirements and assist with customer/government source inspections
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • 3+ years of related aerospace inspection experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5; familiarity with AS9100 and AS9102 standards
  • Ability to interpret complex drawings and electronic/hydraulic schematics
  • Experience with quality and MES systems (examples: Net-Inspect, Solumina)
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively as a participative team member
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
