Role Description:
The Project Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Haiku, HI, responsible for leading projects from concept through construction documentation and completion. This role includes developing design solutions, producing detailed drawings and BIM models, coordinating with engineers and consultants, and preparing and reviewing submittals. The Project Architect will manage project schedules, budgets, and workflows, ensuring work aligns with Companies sustainability goals and net-zero design standards. Day-to-day tasks involve client communication, participation in design meetings, oversight of technical documentation, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver high-quality, code-compliant architecture. The role also supports LEED and other sustainability certifications, while mentoring junior team members and contributing to continuous improvement of firm standards.
 
Qualifications
  • Strong architectural design and technical skills in Architecture and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
  • Demonstrated experience with project planning, coordination, and delivery in Project Management.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and certifications, including Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
  • Ability to manage and review construction documentation processes, including Submittals and consultant coordination.
  • Professional degree in Architecture and active or eligible architectural licensure preferred.
