Job description

1st shift Porter ($14.00 per hour) 6:30AM - 2:30PM

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Mall Housekeeper who can maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of various areas within our shopping mall. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate in basic English and have a passion for providing excellent customer service while ensuring a safe, clean, and inviting environment for shoppers and visitors.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clean and sanitize all areas of the mall, including public spaces, restrooms, corridors, food court, escalators, and other high-traffic areas.
    Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, and ensure all surfaces are dusted and wiped.
    Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal procedures are followed.
    Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management or maintenance team.
    Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with inquiries and directing them to facilities as needed.
    Refill supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels in restrooms and public areas.
    Ensure that all cleaning supplies are used properly and safely, and report inventory needs.
    Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning as needed, such as seasonal cleaning or after-events.
    Adhere to all health and safety standards and protocols.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping, preferably in a mall, hotel, or similar environment.
Ability to communicate in English.
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
Good physical condition and ability to lift cleaning supplies and equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
