Starting pay is $25.00 or dependent upon experience. Regular quarterly raise schedule from 3 months until top out pay (currently $33.32) is reached.


Hours are 6:45am - 5:15pm Mon-Thurs (some overtime on Friday)


This is an onsite position, no remote work available.

GENERAL SUMMARY

Creates programs necessary to fabricate high quality woven wire products. Responsible for accurately interpreting drawings and then creating programs for several machines (including angle processing FICEP, lasers, advanced tube laser BLM and Press Brake) using various CAD CAM software


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

  • Accurately interpret drawings and cut-sheets.
  • Create part and nest programs for various machines.
  • Troubleshoot part issues with shop and office leaders.


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Office setting with low to moderate noise due to computers, printers, and people moving about.
  • 10-hour work days – 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday).
  • Mandatory overtime depending on operation schedule.
  • Work alone or with other co-workers.
  • Steady pace with set productivity goals to be met each day.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Constant computer work.


MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT

  • Computers
  • Printer / Plotter
  • Calculator/telephone/copiers and other standard office equipment.
  • Measuring equipment (Measuring Tape, Calipers)


Requirements:

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and other Office software.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software, 3D CAD is a plus.
  • Part / Nesting software knowledge is a plus.
  • Background in steel manufacturing a plus, but not required.
  • The ability to read measuring tools such as measuring tape and calipers.
  • Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • High School Diploma or GED
