Associate Operational Compliance Analyst / Staff Operational Compliance Analyst

Job Function:

Regulatory Compliance - Operational

Supports operational organizations by developing, implementing, and maintaining standards, procedures, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, reliability standards, and company policies. Partners with operational organizations and Corporate Regulatory Compliance to interpret regulatory requirements, monitor compliance activities, and improve operational compliance processes.

• Researches and analyzes regulations, requirements, and reliability standards under limited supervision.
• Develops or modifies work procedures, practices, and protocols to improve compliance.
• Writes and revises operational standards and procedures.
• Provides implementation guidance to operational personnel.

Staff Operational Compliance Analyst

• Leads analysis of new or revised regulations, requirements, and reliability standards.
• Translates regulatory requirements into operational processes and enterprise compliance solutions.
• Develops and maintains complex operational standards and procedures.
• Provides technical leadership and implementation guidance across operational organizations.

Compliance Monitoring and ReviewAssociate Operational Compliance Analyst

• Supports tracking and documentation of compliance controls.
• Identifies compliance gaps and recommends remediation strategies.
• Participates in company-wide compliance reviews with Corporate Regulatory Compliance.

Staff Operational Compliance Analyst

• Leads monitoring and evaluation of compliance controls.
• Analyzes trends and systemic compliance risks.
• Develops remediation strategies and partners with Corporate Regulatory Compliance on enterprise initiatives.

Consultation and OutreachAssociate Operational Compliance Analyst

• Responds to complex questions regarding regulations, procedures, and standards.
• Provides guidance and training within assigned operational areas.

Staff Operational Compliance Analyst

• Serves as the operational compliance subject matter expert.
• Advises leaders on regulatory requirements and operational impacts.
• Develops and delivers compliance training programs and strategic communications.

Research and AnalysisAssociate Operational Compliance Analyst

• Researches regulatory, technology, and process changes.
• Evaluates operational impacts and recommends procedural improvements.

Staff Operational Compliance Analyst

• Leads regulatory impact analyses and evaluates emerging industry developments.
• Identifies enterprise process improvements and recommends strategic compliance initiatives.

Compliance AuditsAssociate Operational Compliance Analyst

• Assists with internal and external regulatory compliance audits.
• Supports documentation requests and corrective action activities.

Staff Operational Compliance Analyst

• Serves as the functional lead during compliance audits.
• Provides technical expertise, coordinates audit activities, and supports corrective action planning.

Education:

Both Levels-

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technical field, or another related discipline.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Experience:Preferred Certifications:

Both Levels-

NERC Certification preferred

Staff Operational Compliance Analyst

• Ability to consistently meet attendance standards for regular, reliable, predictable, full-time attendance

Physical Capabilities:

• Driving/travel/commute: Daily within service territory - Frequently (at least once a week or more)

• Computer use (use computer regularly for entire work shift)

• Lifting/pushing/pulling: Up to 10lbs.

• Carrying: Up to 10lbs.
