JOB SUMMARY: The Business Development Representative is responsible for managing NEP's outbound business development efforts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead generation and identification of key target client stakeholders and decision makers in the NEP sales process
Develop repeatable methodology/process to gather information on key stakeholders, decision makers
Identify stakeholder and decision maker touch points
Identification of property build process
Develop ability and process to track all new builds over a defined size within NEP service territories
Develop ability and process to identify all existing apartment communities over a defined size within the NEP service territories
Develop ability and process to track media outlets (newspapers, business journals, etc.) for potential leads
Develop ability and process to create property profiles (battle cards)
Identify and develop ability and process to track competition
Identify and develop lead channels
Develop ability and process to create outbound messaging campaigns
Influence existing marketing channels to be lead friendly
Develop ability to evaluate lead quality on an ongoing basis
Administrative support for sales team
Identification of key stakeholders and decision makers at target NEP clients
Filtering/ranking of leads based on target segmentation profile
Contact stakeholders and decision makers at target NEP clients
Present initial value prop to stakeholders and decision makers
Qualify lead using qualification criteria
Manage lead hand over to appropriate sales contact
Track success of lead through sales lifecycle
Create a map of key builders, their contacts and geographic areas

1-2 years of existing inside sales or business development experience
1-2 years of marketing experience or knowledge
Demonstrable knowledge of lead generation process and tracking
Creativity in a lead generation solutions and approach
A desire to track information down and piece together differing elements to form a solution
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.

The pay range for this position is below. The specific starting rate will depend on the chosen candidate's qualifications and prior experience. $55,000 (entry level qualifications) to $75,000 (highly experienced). This position is also eligible to participate in the company's discretionary bonus program based on company and personal performance.
