About the Role:
The Neighborhood Clinic in Carson City, Nevada is looking for a compassionate and driven Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients across all age groups in a welcoming, community-focused environment. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality primary care, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, physical exams, and health screenings
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including developing and managing individualized care plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging studies
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with evidence-based guidelines
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and health management
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Requirements:
  • Current, valid Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification from AANP or ANCC
  • Active NV RN and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program
  • DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Experience in primary care, family medicine, or a related clinical setting preferred
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
