This is a seasonal role. The position will end by December 2025. Techs could be placed for work with other Neighborly brands during the winter season, though not guaranteed.

As a Mosquito Control Technician on the Mosquito Joe team, a typical day for you will include:

Visually inspecting and treating for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks and other outdoor pests for residential and commercial customer's properties

Communicating with customers by setting expectations and walking them through the process to guarantee exceptional customer service

Safely operating a company vehicle

Maintaining chemical and operational records in accordance with state and federal regulations

Handling pesticides in a safe manner

(Required qualifications)

Experience: 1 + year of experience preferred

Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, ability to obtain a commercial pesticide applicator's license (this can be completed during training), must have valid driver's license with a safe driving record, ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test according to state laws

Education: High school diploma or GED

Physical requirements: Ability to walk a customer's property while carrying equipment over 60 pounds

Schedule: Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays
