Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Friday through Sunday

Now Hiring | Full-Time

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and experienced in providing respiratory care to subacute and long-term care patients.

Position Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations. This role supports patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions in a post-acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory treatments (neb treatments, oxygen therapy, trach care, suctioning, etc.)
  • Monitor and assess patient respiratory status
  • Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxygen delivery systems
  • Document treatments and patient responses accurately
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to optimize patient care
  • Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory therapies as needed

Qualifications:

  • Current RT license in good standing (state-specific)
  • RRT or CRT accepted
  • BLS required (ACLS preferred, if applicable)
  • SNF, subacute, or long-term care experience preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
