Job description

Job Overview:
  • Responsible for leading architectural design, modernization, and delivery of enterprise .NET-based solutions while driving legacy system transformation and cloud adoption.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the roadmap for system and solution architecture, ensuring transition from legacy to cloud-native environments.
  • Maintain code quality through code reviews, architectural governance, and hands-on mentoring of the development team.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison between customer stakeholders and nearshore/offshore engineering teams.
  • Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs.
  • Provide technical guidance, unblock development challenges, and support distributed engineering teams.
  • Lead refactoring and rewriting of localized C++ code into a unified .NET solution.
  • Drive migration of legacy Oracle databases to Azure SQL while ensuring data integrity and scalability.
  • Standardize platform for global usage including internationalization, localization, and compliance with Eurocode standards.
  • Establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and promote engineering best practices.
  • Champion the adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed and quality.

Should Have:

  • Strong leadership experience in guiding distributed nearshore and offshore teams.
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on legacy system modernization and refactoring.

Skills:

  • Expertise in .NET Core and .NET 8+ with modern C# development.
  • Experience with cloud-native architecture and Microsoft Azure microservices.
  • Experience in Oracle to Azure SQL or similar large-scale database migrations.
  • Familiarity with C++ for legacy system analysis and code translation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing.
  • Knowledge of internationalization (I18n), localization (L10n), and Eurocodes.
